Reunion with Jojie Mondia (CTM’s first convert in the Philippines – 1989) A highlight for us was to be re-united with Jojie Mondia, who was the first Filipino to receive the Lord on our very first missions trip back in 1989. Today Jojie is a national class runner and coach who has an extremely strong Christian testimony. Jojie is teaching youth Bible studies, Witnessing at various meets, and coaching high school and college athletes. He has a very powerful ministry and many have come to know the Lord through his life and testimony.
Filipino Pastors Appreciation BanquetOn our last night of the tour, our team enjoyed a banquet with our host pastors, discipleship follow-up teams, and their wives, along with the Lifegate Community Baptist Church family. These servants of the Lord are some of the most dedicated workers I've ever had the opportunity to meet. They work long hours, with very little sleep to reach as many people as possible with the Good News of the Lord Jesus Christ.
PRAYER REQUEST: Our Filipino Pastors Need Your Prayer & Financial InvestmentThis is a special memo to those of you who may be interested in helping support Pastor Renato Bravo, Pastor Bert Aguilar, or Pastor Joe Rosmarino at the Children's Home:
If you, or anyone else you come across, would like to financially help these very dedicated ministers, checks may be sent to CTM and designated for the appropriate pastor(s). We will send them 100% of the funds collected for them on the first of each month.
As you look through the photos, please be assured that you've made a great impact in the lives of everyone associated with this tour - not just those of our mission’s team, but also in the lives of more than 83 Filipinos who have believed on Christ! We appreciate your special prayers for us - even at this moment - as well as your faithful financial investment, both of which enable us to continue our work together in presenting the Lord Jesus Christ to lost people both here in our country and through out the world. May God bless you!
Again, Thank you for your prayers, not only for our American ministry team, but also for our dedicated team of Filipino pastors and lay people who work endlessly, day in and day out, for the Glory of God. May God bless you for your investment of prayer for us and our friends in the Philippines.
Because of His great mercy and love, Nick VogtExecutive Director |
